MILLY: THE FASHION DEMOCRACY

The first size-inclusive concept for a designer brand.

This promotional video was created for Lauren Lockhart’s Luxury and Fashion Management M.A. Final Project at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).

In today's oversaturated fashion industry, plus-size women make up 67 percent of the female population, yet only 10 - 20 percent of apparel is manufactured in their size.


Lauren Lockhart’s M.A. final project, was set out to discover the barriers preventing brands from successfully tapping into the plus-size market. The project was then applied to the brand MILLY, a contemporary womenswear brand and to create a size-inclusive marketing strategy for the brand.
